Tava Pulao / Pav Bhaji Pulao

PAV BHAJI PULAV (This dish is also know os Tava Pulav if cooked on large tava)

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup rice
1 tomato
1 capsicum
1 onion

1/2 cup shredded cabbage
1 boiled potato
1/2 tsp garlic paste

1 tbsp pav bhaji masala
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp butter
3 tbsp pav bhaji ki bhaji (sabji)
A few peas

METHOD:

1. Boil the rice till well cooked and wash through cold water and keep aside. Drain the water completely.
2. Chop all vegetables in medium size.
3. Heat butter in a pan add garlic paste and all the chopped vegetables except onions.
4. Saute the vegetables for a minute ,do not over cook the vegetables let the vegetables be half done for a crisp taste now add red chilli powder and pav bhaji masala and mix well.
5. Add rice and salt and mix well and let it cook on steam for a minute.
6. Now add little bhaji ( sabji) and some lemon juice and mix well and saute for 5 minutes.
7. Remove from heat add chopped onions and mix well.
8. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
9. Enjoy!
