Onion Raita (Kandya che koshiber)

Ingredients :

Onion                             1 no
Fresh corriender leaves   few
Green chillis                    2 nos

Curd                              1/2 cup

For Tempering :

Oil                                 2 tsp
Mustard seeds               1/2 tsp
Hing (asafotida)              a pinch
Haldi (turmeric)              a pinch

Salt                                to taste
Sugar                             a pinch

Method :

1. Finely chop onions, green chillis & corriender leaves.
2. In a bowl mix curd with chopped onions, green chillis, corriender leaves, salt & pinch of sugar.
3. In a small pan or kadhai heat some oil add mustard seeds & hing & haldi powder.
4. Our this mixture on the curd mix & mix well.
5. Serve as an accompaniment with the meal.
