Makke ki Roti

Makke ki Roti is a tradtional punjabi bread made from corn flour. Makke ki Roti is mainly cooked during winters and accompanied with Sarson Ka Saag.



Ingredients :

Makke ka atta ( Corn flour ) 2 cups
Wheat flour 1/2 cup

Salt to taste
Ghee 1 tsp
Water to knead the dough

Makke Ka Dough
Method :

1. In a parat or large mixing bowl mix all the ingredinets together.
2. Knead a semi soft dough and let it rest for 10 - 15 minutes.
3. Make equal size balls.
4. With a belan ( rolling pin ) roll it like a roti but thicker than roti and thinner then paratha.
5. Roast with ghee from both the sides and cook till well cooked.
