Oil as required for shallow frying
Method :
1. In a parat or large bowl mix flour and rice flour together.
2. Mix all the spices. grated cucumber, ajwain, till and salt. Mix well.
3. Using water make a dough. The dough should be very soft.
The Dough is ready
5. Make a small ball of the dough, place it on the pan & spread it flat with the hands. While spreading or patting the ball wet the hands a little. In this way the dough will not stick to the hands & spreading will be easier. Be carefull of the hot griddle.
6. Make 2-3 holes on the thalipeeth and apply little oil.
7. One side of the thalipeeth becomes brown turn the thalipeeth the other side & again apply little oil.

hey, nice new recipe. You said, make it on pan, can this be not rolled like roti? is it because of rice flour? Just curious to know.
Hey thanks Priya... :)
Well the dough is too soft and sticky hence cannot rolled like roti hence has to be directly made on tava or pan.
Traditionally this dish is made on tava directly. :)
Few people spread it on a moist cloth and then they put it on tava. But it becomes difficutt as the dough is sticky....
