Bread Slices 6 nos
Gram flour (besan) 1/2 cup
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Tumeric powder a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil to frying
Fresh corriender leaves finely chopped
1. Cut the slides of the bread and cut the bread slices in small square shapes.
2. In a bowl add besan, water, all the spices. salt and finely chopped corriender leaves. Mix well.
3. Heat oil.
4. Dip the bread squares in the besan mix and deep fry till light golden colour.
5. Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.
Tip : Using the same ingredients bread pakora can me made by shallow frying on a hot griddle by using few drops of oil from the sides.
Love the pakodas, very tempting and delicious looking.
