Ingredients :
300 gm White button mushroom
1no Capsicum / green bell pepper
1 - 2 nos Onion
2 nos Tomato
1/2 tsp Ginger- garlic paste
For garnishing Coriander/ cilantro
1 tsp Coriander powder
2 pinch Turmeric powder
1tsp Red chili powder
1/4 tsp Cumin powder
2 pinch Garam masala
1 or 2 nos Green chili
12 nos Cashew
2 pinch Asafetida
Method :
1. Wash and clean the mushrooms and cut them into cubes.
2. Make a puree of tomatoes and paste green chili and cashew.
3. Cut the green bell pepper into cubes.
4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the bell pepper until slight crispy. After that remove it and place it aside.
5. Chop the onions.
6. Again heat some oil in the pan and add cumin seeds, asafotida and turmeric powder.
7. Add ginger garlic paste , coriander powder and the chopped onions. Sauté for 2 mins.
8. Next add the purée ( made above) and sauté till it starts leaving oil from sides.
9. Add the fried bell pepper. Add chili powder, salt, cumin powder and garam masala. At this moment one can also add a tsp of kasoori methi.
10. Add mushroom cubes and water as per choice. Put a lid on the pan and let it cook for around 5 mins.
11. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
12. Enjoy!
