Aap Ki Rasoi Se / From your Kitchen : Peanut Chutney - Recipe By Abha Bansod


Ingredients :
  • Peanuts as required
  • Cumin seeds depending upon the quantity of peanut mixture
  • Chilly powder depending upon the quantity of peanut mixture
  • Oil depending upon the quantity of peanut mixture
  • Garlic depending upon the quantity of peanut mixture
  • Cloves (just to add flavour)
  • Tomatoes & onions depending upon the quantity of peanut mixture.
  • Salt to taste
Method :

1. Roast cumin seeds and peanuts together until crisp.
2. Remove and peel off and coarsly grind the peanuts adding garlic, cloves to it. 
3. Heat oil in a pan and add onions to it. Let it simmer until its translucent.
4. Add chilly powder and saute properly.
5. Add the tomatoes and adjust the salt accordingly. 
6. Now add the mixture of peanuts, cumin and garlic to it. Mix it properly and sprinkle some water for correct texture.
7. Let it cook for 5-7 mins. Garnish with corriander and serve hot or cold. It can stay for 5-6 days if kept in 
air.tight jar.
