Hot Garlic rolls with ketchup or any other dip is always enjoyed specially during winters and on a rainy day. So whats keeping us waiting lets see how its made!
I have used fresh garlic which gives the rolls nice flavour.
Makes 8-10 rolls
Ingredients :
1. Make medium size ball. Dust some flour on the surface.
2. With a rolling pin make medium thick like roti / tortilla. Note it should not be thin.
3. Spread the the garlic filling as shown in the below picture.
4. Now roll it with light hand. Once you meet the end moist you finger with water and apply to the end and press lightly. Seal the end too.
5. Now place it the opposite side up and with a knife make light superficial cuts. Note they should not be deep. We are not cutting it but just for design purpose.
6. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and bake till light brown.
7. Once baked brush little butter.
8. Serve with desirable dipping sauce.

- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 packet active dry yeast
- 1tbsp vegetable oil or olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup warm water for yeast
- 1 tsp for mixed Italian herbs (optinal)
- 1/2 cup water for needing the dough, you may need a little more to sprinkle.
For the filling:
10 garlic cloves finely chopped
1 green chilli medium hot finely sliced
Fresh corriender leaves finely chopped
2 tsp of soya sauce
Sprinkle red pepper / chilli flakes its optinal only if you want it hot.
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
1 1/2 tsp oil
Method :
For the dough :
1. Ferment the yeast as per instructions on the packet.
2. In large bowl combine all ingredients listed under the dough.
3. Mix water as required to make a semi hard / medium tight dough.
4. Knead well.
5. Rest the dough for sometime. Keep it covered with moist cloth to retain its moisture.
6. Mean while we will make the filling.

1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and allow them to crackle.
2. Add green chilli and garlic and saute till light brown.
3. Add soya sauce and salt and mix well.
4. Saute for 5 mins and you will have nice aroma of garlic by this time.
5. Remove from the flame and corriender leaves and red pepper(optinal). Mix well.
