Methi Puri

Yummy methi puri is made from fresh methi / fenugreek leaves and wheat flour. Usually enjoyed as a tea time snack. Quick to fix.


Ingredients :

  • 2 cups wheat flour / atta
  • 1/2 bunch of methi / fenugreek leaves finely chopped
  • Finely chopped few corriender leaves
  • 2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 2 tsp green chilli paste
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp corriender powder
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp till
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Method :
1. In a bowl mix all the ingredients and mix well.
2. Make a dough just like you make it for normal puri.
3. Let the dough rest for some time.

The dough is ready to make puris

5. Heat oil for frying.
6. Make equal size bowls of the dough.
7. With a rolling pin make puris.
8. Fry till light golden brown.
9. Serve hot with tomato sauce.
