Mango Rice Kheer is an Indian dessert. Rice is cooked in milk and mixed with mango pulp. Since the mango is sweet no sugar is required. Hence its a healthy dessert with natural sweetness. Great for any dinner party or get - together. Its easy to cook and quick.
Ingredients :
Method :
1. Wash rice thoroughly.
2. In a thick bottom pan mix milk and rice together.
3. Add kesar / saffron to it and keep for boiling till rice is well done. Keep stirring to avoid sticking to the pan. Keep this on medium flame to avoid buring.
4. Check for milk is required add more.
5. Once the rice is cooked, cool it 90% atleast.
6. Once cooled, add the mango pulp and mix well.
7. Refrigerate few hours before serving.
8. Garnish with chopped mixed dry fruits.
9. Enjoy!
Note : If you are using Ratnagiri Mango pulp you may need to add some sugar. As this variety of mango is not as sweet as Alphanso mango pulp.

- 1 1/2 cup rice
- 3 cups milk
- Few strands of kesar / saffron
- Mixed dry fruits chopped
- [Add sugar if you need your kheer to be more sweeter]
